Where can you see yourself next?

Staff Spotlight

Staff Spotlight

What date did you join Montgomery?  October 2019.

What is the best and worst part of your job?  Talking to, and hopefully helping people on their career journey, assisting clients to find the right people and without a doubt the Monty team! The worst part – not that it’s bad, but an open plan office (I have had to learn that I don’t need to involve myself in every conversation happening around me… not so much of an issue with COVID).

Where did you grow up?  Darwin.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Forensic psychologist.

Who is your mentor or greatest inspiration?Karen Hanigan, mentor both in life and professionally.

What is your greatest achievement? My three awesome children and possibly waking at 1.30am (not much past my usual bedtime) to climb Mt Sonder for sunrise.

What is your favourite movie? Tough one, Thelma & Louise…

What is your favourite board game?  Risk.

If you could be someone else for a day who would it be? (living or dead) Shakira, I would love to be able to sing (my children ask me to stop!)

Best holiday you’ve been on? Road trip around Spain in 2002, closely followed by skiing in Livigno.

What three items are a must have if you were stuck on a desert island? Coffee machine, good book and a hat.

If you won lotto what would you do? Purchase an apartment in Livigno and donate to the Black Dog Institute and Beyond Blue.

On the other side of COVID, what will you not take for granted? TRAVEL, anywhere… and more simply the office banter, mid-morning coffee at GGs or Bacio, drinks at Hugos and gathering with family and friends to celebrate special occasions.
