Manager
James is a Manager at Montgomery Advisory. He recruits lawyers of all levels in Australia and internationally across both private practice and in-house.
James covers almost every area of law including banking & finance, commercial, competition, construction, corporate, employment, energy & resources, environment & planning, financial services and regulatory, funds & superannuation, government/administration, information technology, insolvency, insurance, intellectual property, litigation and dispute resolution, mergers & acquisitions, native title, OH&S, projects, property, and taxation.
After completing his communications degree at Macquarie University, James commenced his career in recruitment in early 2016 where he specialised in the banking and financial services sector, with a more particular focus on compliance, legal, audit and risk recruitment throughout the APAC region.
Looking to specialise in legal recruitment, James made the move across to Montgomery.
He always finds it rewarding being able to assist in the development of ambitious professionals, trying to better themselves and achieve their goals. He feels it’s important that a solid foundation of trust and support is maintained with candidates and clients alike.
James likes to keep active and is a keen surfer and golfer. He will secure you a role and most importantly help iron out your slice off the tee.
