Laura is a Director at Montgomery Advisory and specialises in private practice legal recruitment.
Laura recruits lawyers at all levels and in almost every area of law including banking & finance, commercial, competition, construction, corporate, employment, energy & resources, environment & planning, financial services and regulatory, funds & superannuation, government/administration, information technology, insolvency, insurance, intellectual property, litigation and dispute resolution, mergers & acquisitions, native title, WH&S, projects, property, and taxation.
She was born in New Zealand and grew up in Ireland where she studied her law degree at the National University of Ireland in Galway before moving to Sydney in 2010.
She began her recruiting career at a leading global recruitment company, where she was instrumental in the growth of its Australian legal arm, managing a successful team for four years.
With over 9 years in the industry she is regarded as one of the go-to legal recruiters in Australia. She works closely with key personnel at a range of national and international commercial law firms across Australia.
Outside of work, Laura loves to travel and try out new restaurants (one of her favourite weekend delights). She is a keen exerciser and typically has a running, cycling or swimming event in the calendar.
